As you are driving in your vehicle, ask your child to identify various items. For instance, ask her to find a bus, truck, flag, barn, McDonald's, etc. Once you approach the item, point it out and say, "I see the yellow bus." At first, focus on things that your child will easily recognize, then add a bit of a challenge. This game can also be played in a restaurant while waiting for a table or your food or anywhere else a toddler might have to wait.
